Overview

This website is operated by Threads on Design ("we," "us," "our"). By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Our products

Every product we sell is custom embroidered to the lettering, fonts, thread colors, and sizes you choose. Within 12 hours of your order, we email you a digital mockup of your exact design. We begin stitching 24 to 72 hours after your order, which leaves you at least 12 hours to request changes — free and unlimited during that time. You do not need to reply to approve your mockup; if we do not hear from you within that time, production begins and the mockup we sent is the final specification for your order. Product photos on this site are for illustration; thread colors may render slightly differently on different screens.

Your lettering and logos

You are responsible for the text and any artwork you submit for embroidery. By submitting lettering or a logo, you confirm you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe any trademark, copyright, or other rights of any third party. We reserve the right to decline orders containing content we cannot lawfully or ethically reproduce.

Ordering and payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is processed securely at checkout through Shopify's payment providers; we never see or store your full card details. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, with a full refund — for example, in cases of pricing errors or suspected fraud.

Shipping

Shipping is $10 flat on orders under $60 and free on orders of $60 or more. Timelines and details are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and begin from the start of stitching, 24 to 72 hours after your order, not from the order date.

Returns, remakes, and cancellations

Because our products are personalized, returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: you may cancel any time within 24 hours of your order, before stitching begins. If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or does not match the mockup we sent, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will send a replacement at no cost to you. Because every piece is stitched with your business name and cannot be restocked or resold, we do not accept returns for a change of mind.

Intellectual property

The Threads on Design name, logo, site content, and designs are our property and may not be used without our written permission. This does not apply to your own business name and artwork, which remain yours.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for delays caused by carriers or other events outside our reasonable control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page, and changes take effect when posted.
