Yes. Barber capes are embroidered the same way as our salon capes, with your barbershop name, a barber's name or your logo, from $35 a cape.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum for a single cape with your @handle or name. Matching sets with your salon name start at 4 capes, and capes with your own logo start at 8 pieces.
How much do custom embroidered capes cost?
$35 a cape with your name or salon name, $40 a cape with your logo plus a one-time $10 digitizing fee, or $169.99 for a set of 4 capes and 2 aprons. Shipping is $10, free on orders of $99 or more.
Are embroidered capes better than printed capes?
For capes that are washed every day and get bleach on them, yes. Embroidery is thread stitched through the fabric, so there is no printed layer to crack or peel.
About our custom salon aprons
A salon apron takes more abuse than the cape does — it is the piece standing at the bowl all day. These are bib aprons in the same chemical-resistant fabric as the capes, at $33 each, four to an order.
Bleach and chemicals. The fabric is a coated, chemical-resistant nylon, and we tested it ourselves rather than repeating a supplier's claim: 6A with 20 volume, and bleach with 20 volume, both left to process for thirty minutes, then washed and dried. Nothing bleached and nothing deposited — not on the cape, not on the apron, not on the clothes underneath — and the embroidery was untouched.
Real thread. Every name, @handle and logo on this page is embroidered in satin stitch on our fifteen-needle machine, so the lettering sits raised on the fabric. Want your logo in full color instead? We print capes and aprons too — see the printed sets.
Whose name goes on it. Most salons put the salon's name on every apron so the team matches. Booth renters and independent stylists more often use their own name or their Instagram handle, because that is what a client in the chair will go looking for afterwards. Both cost the same.
You see it before we sew it. A photo-real mockup comes back within 30 minutes, showing your lettering exactly as it will come off the machine. You then have 24 hours to change the text, the font, the thread color or the size. Changes are free and there is no limit on them.
As a gift. A personalised apron is the thing hairstylists and cosmetology graduates actually keep, and it arrives ready to wear rather than needing a size guess.
Where it is made. Everything is digitised and stitched by us in Wylie, Texas — two stylists with an embroidery machine, not a drop-shipper. The photographs in the gallery are our own orders on our own table.
