DTF printing or embroidery? How to choose

Both put your brand on what your team wears. They look and feel different, and each is better at some things. Here is how we help customers choose.

Embroidery

  • Looks like: raised, textured thread with a premium feel.
  • Best for: names, lettering and simple logos with a few colors.
  • We put it on: salon capes, aprons and hoodies.
  • Lasts: as long as the garment does.

DTF printing

  • Looks like: a smooth, bright print in every color of your logo.
  • Best for: detailed or colorful logos, gradients and photos.
  • We put it on: tees, polos, hoodies, hats, bags, capes, aprons and UV stickers.
  • Feels: soft and stretchy, and made to handle regular washing.

A quick way to decide

  • Your logo has lots of colors, fine detail or a gradient: DTF printing.
  • You want lettering or a simple logo with a stitched, premium look: embroidery.
  • You want your brand on tees, hats and bags for the whole team: a DTF bundle.
  • You want capes and aprons with your salon name: embroidery.
