Custom printing
Will I see my design before you print it?
Yes. We email you a free mockup of your exact design first. If anything needs changing, reply to that email and we fix it before we print – at no charge.
How long does it take?
Made and shipped in 7 days. Have a hard deadline – an opening, an event, a photo shoot? Text us before you order and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can make it.
What is custom printing?
A double-layered, washable full-color print. Your design is printed onto a film, then heat-pressed onto the garment (the trade name is DTF, direct-to-film). Every color, gradient and fine detail of your logo comes through – no limit on colors.
What file should I send?
A PNG with a see-through background prints best. A JPG works too – the page takes a plain background out for you, and we check it on your mockup. SVG, PDF and AI files up to 20 MB are welcome.
How does it feel, and how does it wash?
Smooth, soft and flexible – it moves with the fabric. For the longest life, wash inside out in cold water, tumble dry low and keep the iron off the print.
Can I mix sizes and colors?
Sizes, yes – pick any mix in step 2, with a size chart for every garment. Each garment type comes in one color per order; if you need mixed colors, say so in your order notes.
Is there a minimum order?
Bundles are ready-made sets. Capes and aprons have no minimum – order one. A custom mix of any pieces starts at $300.
Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
Anywhere in the United States, USPS with tracking. Shipping is free on custom printing orders of $125 or more; under that you pay the real USPS rate, shown at checkout.
What if something is wrong with my order?
If it arrives faulty, or doesn’t match the mockup we sent, send us a photo within 14 days of delivery. We replace the affected pieces and cover the shipping. Every piece is made for you, so we can’t take returns for a change of mind.
Should I choose custom printing or embroidery?
Custom printing for full-color or detailed logos on tees, polos, hoodies, hats and bags. Embroidery for raised, premium thread on capes and aprons. Not sure? Text us your logo at (469) 368-5805 and we’ll tell you which will look best, or read Printing or embroidery? How to choose.
Two cloths, chosen apart.
A cape has to fall away from a client. An apron has to stand up to a full day on the floor. Different jobs, so different cloth.
A finely woven, lightweight polyester with a close, almost silk-like hand. It falls rather than stiffens, so a cape sits properly on a client instead of standing away from them, and the matte surface keeps it looking professional under salon lighting rather than shiny in photos. Light enough that a client barely notices it through a long service.
A high-count, high-density worsted suiting cloth, noticeably thicker than the cape fabric, with the drape that only comes with a bit of weight. It resists creasing through a long shift and sheds a splash rather than drinking it in, so it still looks pressed at six o'clock.

Ordering & Customization
What's included in each set?
The Signature Bundle is four cutting capes and two salon aprons. The Solo Stylist Bundle is two cutting capes and one salon apron. You can also order capes only or aprons only, four pieces minimum. Every piece is custom embroidered with your lettering: you choose the text (up to three lines), the font and thread color for each line, and the lettering size for capes and aprons.
What is the smallest order you can take?
One. A single cutting cape with your @handle or your name has no minimum at all, and you can add a matching apron to it. The sets are different: capes only and aprons only start at four pieces, because those are priced per piece at a set rate. Logo work starts at eight garments, capes and aprons combined.
How much is it per piece?
Capes only and aprons only are $33 a piece, four minimum. The Signature Bundle is $159.99 for six pieces, which works out at about $26.67 each, and the Solo Stylist Bundle is $89.00 for three. A single no-minimum cape is $35 and a matching apron alongside it is $25. Logo work is $40 a garment, eight garments minimum, plus a one-time $10 digitizing fee per logo, not per garment.
How many capes does a salon need?
Two to three per chair is what most of our salons settle on. That is enough to keep a clean cape on every chair while the others are in the wash, and it means nobody is caught short on a busy Saturday. If you do a lot of color, lean towards three and rotate them — the fabric lasts longer that way.
Can the capes and aprons say different things?
Yes. By default your aprons match your capes, but on the order page you can switch off Same as cape and enter completely separate lettering — different text, fonts, and colors.
Can every line be a different font and color?
Yes — each line has its own font and thread color. Mix a script name with block lettering underneath, in different colors, however you like. The live preview shows exactly what you've built.
Can I add an extra cape or apron to a bundle?
Yes — on the last step of the designer there is an Add another piece box. Extra pieces are stitched with the same name, lettering style and thread color as the rest of your set, and they are priced at that set's own per-piece rate.
Will I see my design before it's stitched?
Always. We email you a digital mockup within 12 hours of your order, showing your lettering exactly as it will come off the machine.
Do I have to approve it before you start?
No — and this is the part worth reading. You have until 24 hours after your order to tell us if anything needs changing. Changes are free and there's no limit on them. If we don't hear from you in that window, we take it as a green light and start stitching exactly what the mockup shows. You only need to reply if something is wrong.
Can you stitch my logo instead of text?
Yes. There is a page for it: Your logo, stitched. Upload your artwork there, tell us how many capes and aprons you need, and order it in one go. That page is logo only — it does not add lettering above or below your artwork. Typed lettering is measured and priced by width, which is what the lettering sets are built to do, so the two are kept apart rather than half-done in one place.
A vector file gives the cleanest result — SVG, AI, EPS or PDF. A large, sharp PNG or JPEG usually works too; a screenshot taken off Instagram usually does not, and we'll tell you straight away rather than stitching something disappointing. A specialist digitiser redraws the artwork as stitches — never an automatic converter — which is a one-time $10 digitizing fee per logo, and the minimum is eight garments, capes and aprons combined.
You pay when you order, and that is what puts your logo in front of us. We email your mockup within 12 hours and make every edit you ask for — and to make a logo stitch at its best we may enlarge the lettering inside it or move its colors to a thread we carry. Nothing goes on the machine until you approve it, and if you don't like the mockup you get every dollar back, digitizing fee included.
Do you embroider anything other than capes and aprons?
Those are what the site sells, but the machine will take hats, shirts, hoodies, towels and bags. If you want your salon's name on something that isn't listed, ask us — we'll tell you honestly whether it will stitch well.
Can I order different quantities, or kit out more than one location?
Contact us — we regularly put together custom quantities and multi-location orders for growing salons.
Quality & Care
Are the capes and aprons chemical resistant? Can I use them for color?
Yes. The fabric is bleach-proof and chemical-resistant — it holds up to color, lightener and developer without breaking down.
Being straight with you, because it matters if you are doing color all day: under heavy daily color work, dark dye can eventually start to ghost through the cloth. So we call it color-resistant rather than color-proof. Most salons keep a couple of capes per chair and rotate them, and they last a long time that way.
The embroidery is not touched by any of it. Real thread does not lift, crack or fade the way a print does — bleach and color leave the lettering alone.
Is embroidery better than screen printing or vinyl?
On salon fabric, yes, and it is not close. A screen print or a heat-pressed vinyl transfer sits on top of the cloth as a layer. Salon capes get washed constantly and get bleach and developer on them, and that layer is the part that gives up first — it cracks across the fold lines, then lifts at the edges, usually inside a few dozen washes.
Embroidery is thread stitched through the fabric. There is no coating and no adhesive, so there is nothing to crack or peel, and polyester embroidery thread is colorfast through bleach. It also looks different in the hand: satin stitch stands off the cloth and catches the light, which a flat print cannot do. The honest trade-off is that embroidery cannot reproduce photographs or very fine hairlines, so a highly detailed logo sometimes needs simplifying.
What are the capes and aprons made of?
Two different cloths, because a cape and an apron do different jobs. The capes are polyester pongee — a finely woven, lightweight fabric that falls away from a client instead of standing off them. The aprons are Venice worsted — a heavier, high-density suiting cloth that resists creasing and sheds a splash through a full shift. Both are built to handle water, color, chemicals and daily washing while keeping their professional look.
How do I wash embroidered capes and aprons?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, with mild detergent. Hang to dry or tumble dry low. Avoid bleach in the wash and avoid ironing directly over the embroidery — if you need to press, iron the reverse side. Cared for this way, the stitching outlasts the daily grind of a working salon.
Will the embroidery fade, peel, or crack?
No — embroidery is thread stitched through the fabric, not a print or vinyl transfer. There's nothing to peel or crack, and quality polyester embroidery thread is colorfast through repeated washing and salon chemical exposure.
Shipping & Timing
How much is shipping?
Shipping is $10 flat, and free once your order passes $60. Every order ships USPS with tracking, and we email you the tracking number the moment your package is on its way.
How long until my order arrives?
Your mockup arrives within 12 hours of your order, and you have until the 24-hour mark to change anything. Your order is then stitched in 1–3 days, and USPS carries it with tracking in 4–7 days. Because we don't wait on an approval, your order keeps moving on its own.
Do you ship outside the United States?
We currently ship within the US. Planning a bigger order from elsewhere? Reach out and we'll see what we can do.
Need it by a specific date?
If you have a hard deadline — a salon opening, an event, a photo shoot — contact us before ordering and we'll tell you honestly whether we can hit your date.
Returns & Refunds
What if it is not right?
If it arrives faulty, or doesn't match the mockup we sent you, we will make it right and send you a replacement — and we cover the shipping. Send us a photo within 7 days of delivery. See Returns & Refunds for the full policy.
Can I return it if I just change my mind?
Since every piece is customized with your business name and can't be resold, we ask that you mail it back for a partial refund. Email us within 14 days of delivery and we'll tell you the exact refund amount before you send anything back. Pieces need to come back unused and unwashed, return shipping is yours, and the original shipping isn't refunded.
Can I cancel after ordering?
Yes — any time within 24 hours of your order, before stitching begins, for a full refund. After that the pieces are already being made for you.
Logo orders work differently, because nothing is stitched until you approve the mockup. If you don't like it, you get a full refund whenever that is — digitizing fee included.
Text Messages
Will you text me about my order?
